Rostov-on-Don. May 12. INTERFAX-SOUTH-The training of surface ships and boats of the Black Sea Fleet during the winter training period took place in the conditions of intensive counteraction to NATO ships operating in the Black Sea, Commander of the Southern Military District Alexander Dvornikov said in an interview with the newspaper "Military Bulletin of the South of Russia".
"The number of navigational days spent by the crews of ships and boats of the fleet in the winter training period increased by 26% compared to the same period in 2020, and by 5% for submarines. The increase in the number of ships ' crews compared to 2020 is due to the operational research exercise conducted in the fleet in the course of countering NATO ships operating in the Black Sea, as well as the introduction of the small Grayvoron missile ship into the permanent readiness forces, "Dvornikov said.
He also noted the high intensity of training in the Caspian Flotilla, where 44 tactical exercises were held, as well as two command and staff exercises.
