A military parade dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in the capital of the Republic of Buryatia.
For the first time in history, the parade was attended by members of the Armed Forces of Mongolia.
A solemn march through the main square of the capital of Buryatia was held by the parade calculations of the headquarters of the combined arms association of the district, the communications unit, a separate tank unit, artillery and missile units, an anti-aircraft missile military unit, units of the RCB protection and logistics of the district.
The mechanized column for the first time included the latest armored vehicles "Typhoon", two-link all-terrain vehicles "Aleut", as well as the heavy Soviet tank IS-2 "Joseph Stalin" and the BM-13 "Katyusha"rocket artillery system restored by military masters for the Victory Day.
The mechanized column of equipment was headed by the legendary T-34-85 tank.
Also on the main square of the republican capital were armored personnel carriers BTR-80, combat reconnaissance patrol vehicles BRDM-2, army all-terrain vehicles AM-1, combat vehicles with an anti-tank complex "Competition", multiple rocket launchers "Tornado-G", barrel towed artillery (122-mm howitzers D-30), KamAZ-5350 with anti-aircraft installation ZU-23-2, launchers of the operational-tactical missile complex "Iskander-M", armored vehicles "Lynx".
About 1.5 thousand people and more than 50 pieces of military equipment took part in the parade of the troops of the Ulan-Ude garrison.
The military parade ended with a demonstration flight of highly maneuverable multi-purpose fighters of the 4++ Su-30SM generation and Su-25 "Grach" attack aircraft.
