British Marines practiced landing on a warship using a jetpack created by Gravity Industries. The military believes that the new method can be considered as an alternative to conventional methods of air landing.
On the channel of the company Gravity Industries , a video has appeared showing the exercises of the Royal Marines of Great Britain, testing a jetpack. The role of the target was played by the patrol ship HMS Tamar.
The jetpack is considered as an alternative to the use of helicopters and a system of cables for landing. Gravity Industries itself noted that the concept allows fighters to land in any part of the ship, use weapons and evacuate from the deck if necessary.
