On the island of Russian Marines landed on the unequipped coast

The crews of the landing boats "Ivan Kartsov", "D-704" and "D-57" and "D-107" of the brigade of landing ships of the Pacific Fleet for two days conducted joint tactical and special training with the Marine Corps units on loading and unloading the landing troops on the unequipped coast of Russian Island.

In Novik Bay, landing boats trained to approach the shore and together with marine units landed personnel and equipment on the unequipped coast in a point-blank approach.

More than 40 Marines and 3 BTR-82A armored personnel carriers were involved in the training, the VVO press service notes.
