Military personnel who have recently signed a contract and are serving in the electronic warfare units of the Army Corps of the Baltic Fleet, master the complex "Borisoglebsk-2".
"Borisoglebsk-2" is designed for conducting radio reconnaissance and radio suppression of radio sources. Compared to its predecessor – the "Mandate" – the new complex has improved technical characteristics.
It has an extended frequency range, increased scanning speed of the frequency range, reduced response time for unknown frequencies, higher accuracy in determining the coordinates of the radio source, and increased bandwidth of the suppression means.
The equipment of the Borisoglebsk-2 EW complex is located on the highly mobile base of the MT-Lbu tracked multi-purpose light armored armored personnel carrier, the information support department of the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet told the Military-Industrial Courier.
Within the framework of special training sessions with contractors, the issues of electronic cover of their troops from missile strikes and aircraft of a simulated enemy, as well as the suppression of networks and communication lines are worked out.
