According to the source, the first such launch occurred in November 2020 with the K-561 Kazan submarine. The source noted that the submarine "during the state tests performed a salvo of two missiles from a vertical launcher and a torpedo tube", " confirming the possibility of such launches." Then the "Caliber", launched from a vertical launcher, was used on a coastal target, and the "Onyx", launched from a torpedo tube, was used on a surface target.
