Moscow. March 28. INTERFAX-Mi-24 attack helicopters conducted rocket and artillery fire in the Baltic Sea, the press service of the Baltic Fleet (BF) reported.
"During the training activities, the helicopter crews practiced striking unguided aircraft missiles and aerial bombs at sea targets that imitate the ships of a simulated enemy," the report says.
According to the navy, the helicopter pilots fired from the Mi-24 cannon armament at targets simulating high-speed small-size naval targets.
"During the sorties for combat use, the helicopter pilots carried out strikes both singly and in pairs," the BF noted.
