In the Center for Engineering and Technical Support of Rosgvardiya and in the training center "Novsky" ODON named after F. E. Dzerzhinsky, the department's specialists demonstrated the actions of the units in conditions close to combat, including the clearance of objects with the help of robotic means.
Rosgvardiya engineers showed the practical actions of the personnel of the reconnaissance and mine clearance group on a special engineering vehicle SIM-4. A prototype of a special engineering vehicle was created by JSC "Krasnodar Instrument Plant" Cascade "(Krasnodar) " as part of the development work to ensure the actions of the reconnaissance and mine clearance groups of the National Guard troops, carried out by order of the Engineering Department of Rosgvardiya.
SIM-4 is a special armored bus "Federal-M" with a set of equipment and equipment installed on it. The vehicle is designed to conduct engineering reconnaissance and escort columns of the National Guard troops.
It is used to search for and detect explosive devices in motion along the route of a convoy of vehicles. The vehicle is equipped with radio signal blocking equipment for triggering remotely controlled explosive devices. SIM-4 transports the personnel of the reconnaissance and mine clearance group to the work site, while protecting the crew from small arms fire, shrapnel, and the impact of damaging factors of explosive devices.
At the same time, for the supply of the National Guard troops to ensure the actions of the employees of the engineering and technical groups of the OMON for the purpose of exploration, detection, localization and neutralization of explosive objects, a mobile complex for the search and neutralization of explosive objects "ARAKS" on the basis of a Peugeot Boxer car was adopted.
Work was carried out to create a prototype of the Araks mobile complex for the search and detection of explosive objects for use in difficult terrain, made on the basis of the domestic all-wheel drive car SADKO-NEXT.
Under the leadership of the Engineering Department of Rosgvardiya, the mobile robotic complex MRK-15 was upgraded, which is used by the OMON and SOBR units of Rosgvardiya when performing various technological operations, as well as when working with explosive objects using sets of attached additional equipment. Within the framework of the state defense order, 8 units of products were purchased and delivered.
MRK-15 is designed for visual reconnaissance of potentially dangerous areas, search, evacuation or destruction of explosive devices.
Modern engineering means adopted for the supply of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation allow for the protection of personnel, as well as to identify and detect explosive devices, including those controlled by radio.
