"The AS-15 deep-water nuclear power plant is being repaired and modernized. It is assumed that the carrier of the AS-15 station, capable of operating at depths of up to 3 km, will be the Belgorod submarine, " he said.
The Ship Repair Center "Zvezdochka" (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation), where the repair and modernization of this device is taking place, did not comment on this information to TASS.

The station was laid down on February 23, 1983 at the Leningrad Admiralty Association (now "Admiralty Shipyards"), transferred to the military department on December 30, 1991.
