More than 1.5 thousand paratroopers, six BMD-2K-AU and three P-7 parachute platforms took part in the exercises
MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. The Russian Defense Ministry showed footage of a mass landing of airborne troops with BMD-2K-AU combat vehicles at the Budikhino landing site in the Kostroma region.
The footage, posted on YouTube on Wednesday, shows the loading of personnel into the plane and footage of the mass landing.
"Footage of the mass landing of airborne personnel, combat vehicles and parachute platforms with ammunition from IL-76MD aircraft during the flight tactical exercise of the Center for Combat Use and Retraining of Military Transport Aviation," the Defense Ministry explained.
They noted that more than 1.5 thousand paratroopers, six BMD-2K-AU and three P-7 parachute platforms took part in the exercises.
