New radiation, chemical and biological protection devices developed for the RHM-8 and RHM-9 vehicles based on the Tiger and Typhoon doubled the capabilities of these special vehicles of the RHBZ troops. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
The cars received a modern instrument complex that allows "to perform the entire range of tasks for conducting radiation, chemical and biological reconnaissance, both in peacetime and in wartime." In addition, the RCB intelligence complex itself has become more versatile and autonomous.
"The new RCB reconnaissance devices allow us to increase the efficiency of the use of machines by two times compared to existing analogues," the report says.
The updated special vehicles of the RKHBZ troops will be shown to the general public at the international military-technical forum "Army-2021" in August.
