TSAMTO, March 19. The improvement of the Ansat helicopter used for sanaviation by the Republican Clinical Hospital (RKB) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan was carried out.

The machine was equipped with a new medical module with increased ease of loading the patient. The work was carried out by the airline "YUVT AERO" with the participation of specialists of the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

The Ansat medical helicopter, which helps specialists of the RKB and the Children's Republican Clinical Hospital to evacuate serious patients from the regions of Tatarstan, has been upgraded by installing a medical module with increased ease of loading. Now the helicopter has special guides that allow you to attach medical equipment to the ceiling of the passenger cabin. With the help of such retrofitting, it becomes possible to adjust the lighting system and place it on the desired area. It is also possible to move the syringe pump and other equipment along the cab for an optimal position relative to the patient.

The use of a medmodule with increased ease of loading on an Ansat helicopter was approved by the Federal Air Transport Agency in August 2020. Tatarstan ambulance Ansat became the first rotorcraft, which was implemented this option.

The new medical module produced by Kazan Aggregate Plant is characterized by a modified layout that facilitates loading and unloading of the patient. This process has become more convenient thanks to the use of unified stretchers, equipment and wheelchairs. All manipulations for loading and unloading the victim can now be performed by a single medical professional. The patient can be moved from the helicopter to the ambulance without additional shifting, while there is not even a short-term shutdown of the life support devices, which significantly reduces the risks for the victim during transportation.

In Tatarstan, 184 medical evacuations were carried out with the help of an Ansat helicopter in 2020. For the first time, patients injured in road accidents outside the republic were evacuated. The helicopter flew to the Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh and Kirov regions.

The Ansat is a light twin-engine multi-purpose helicopter, the serial production of which is deployed at the Kazan Helicopter Plant. According to the certificate, the design of the helicopter allows you to quickly transform it into both a cargo and a passenger version with the ability to transport up to 7 people. In May 2015, an addition to the type certificate was received for the modification of the helicopter with a medical module. Ansat is certified for use in the temperature range from -45 to +50 Deg. C, and also for use in the highlands. In August 2018, based on the results of the certification work, the Federal Air Transport Agency approved the main change to increase the resources of a number of Ansat units and systems. In 2019, the Federal Air Transport Agency certified an increase in the fuselage resource of the Ansat light helicopter to 16 thousand flight hours. In February 2020, the Russian aviation authorities certified the installation of an emergency splashdown system on Ansat. The main change was also approved to increase the airworthiness limits of a number of the main helicopter units, which makes the Ansat helicopter even more attractive to potential customers and increases its competitiveness in comparison with foreign helicopter equipment.

The airline "YUVT AERO" successfully operates in the format of a state partnership and performs a range of works for the needs of unitary aviation. Maintenance and airworthiness procedures include pre-flight and post-flight training, which is performed by engineering personnel, as well as such forms of maintenance (maintenance) as operational, periodic, special, storage maintenance and seasonal maintenance. For the maintenance of the Ansat helicopter, the YUVT AERO airline has done a lot of work on training engineering and technical personnel, conducting training of personnel, and purchasing the necessary equipment. Extensive experience in the maintenance of Ansat helicopters and the high qualification of the specialists of JSC "YUVT AERO" allows us to perform the entire complex of works efficiently and transfer the aircraft to the customer for further operation in the shortest possible time to provide assistance and rescue people.
