Small missile ships of the Baltic Fleet "Odintsovo" and "Sovetsk" worked out launches of cruise missiles "Kalibr" against the background of NATO exercises in the region. This was announced on Friday, March 12, according to the TV channel "Zvezda".
The ships carried out missile launches on a simulated enemy on the surface of the water near the coastline.
The Kalibrov launches were carried out electronically. The missiles were used both on a detachment of ships and on coastal targets belonging to a conditional enemy, which were located at a considerable distance.
The ships also used cannon artillery in the course of practicing the fight against the aircraft of the imaginary enemy, reports NSN.
Also, the crews of small rocket ships debugged the interaction between themselves.
Earlier, on March 10, it was reported that the military sailors in the Syrian Tartus conducted a training session, during which they repelled a conditional attack by scuba divers-saboteurs on ships in the Russian logistics point.
