MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. The second serial nuclear submarine of the project 885M cipher "Yasen-M" Krasnoyarsk will be launched by the shipbuilders of "Sevmash" in August this year. This was reported to TASS by a source in the military-industrial complex.
"The withdrawal of the Krasnoyarsk from the boathouse is planned for August 2021," he said, adding that after that the completion of the submarine afloat, its mooring tests and tests of the nuclear reactor will begin.
According to him, the transfer of the nuclear submarine to the Russian Navy is planned for the end of 2022.
TASS has no official confirmation of this information.
Earlier it was reported that the first serial submarine of the project 885M "Novosibirsk" will be transferred to the Russian Navy at the end of 2021. Thus, this year the shipbuilders of "Sevmash "(part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) are preparing to transfer to the Russian Navy the lead submarine of the project 885M "Kazan" and the first serial - "Novosibirsk". The company has six more submarines of this project in various stages of construction.
