Chinese ATGMs are tested on mock-ups of foreign tanks

The People's Liberation Army of China uses models of various foreign armored vehicles during exercises, as well as tests of the latest models of military equipment.

For example, at the end of last year, an imitation of the American main battle tank Abrams appeared on the Network filmed on one of the highways of the Middle Kingdom. Military experts attribute this fact to the supply of real M1A2T from the United States to Taiwan.

Even earlier, when testing the weapons systems of the CAIC WZ-10 attack helicopter, the T-90S was also used on a wheeled chassis.

As you know, such tanks currently form the basis of the armored formations of the Indian army. Judging by the events of recent years, they are actively involved in carrying out tasks in areas adjacent to areas of possible conflict.

As you can understand from the published images, during the tests, one of the modifications of the HJ-10 anti-tank guided missile was being tested. Most likely, the ATGM did not have a real warhead, after a direct hit, the layout did not suffer much and could be used for other similar tests.

In addition, to improve high-precision weapons and demonstrate their capabilities to potential buyers, targets are used in the form of decommissioned old Type 59, Type 62 tanks and Type 63 armored personnel carriers.
