Missile boats of the Baltic Fleet conducted a complex of artillery firing off the coast of the Kaliningrad region.
During the planned sea launch, the strike group consisting of the missile boats " Morshansk "and" Zarechny " successfully hit all the large and small shields that imitate the ship's detachment of the simulated enemy. In addition, firing was carried out on buoy fields located outside the line of sight of the crews.
The fire was fired from 76-and 30-millimeter artillery systems, the information support department of the press service of the Western Military District for the Baltic Fleet told the Military-Industrial Courier. Also, the sailors worked out the elements of the battle to repel attacks of small targets, performed tasks for joint maneuvering, organizing interaction and communication.
For the duration of the shooting, the sea ranges located in the immediate vicinity of the Kaliningrad coast were declared temporarily dangerous for civilian ships and aircraft. Security in the area was provided by the ships and vessels of the BF.
