Moscow. February 3. INTERFAX-Robotic equipment for high-precision welding has been put into operation at the Samara enterprise "UEC-Kuznetsov", the press service of the United Engine Corporation reported.
"The equipment will be used in the manufacture of compressors, turbines, aircraft engine supports and will increase the production speed by 15% due to the organization of the process," the UEC said on Wednesday.
They reported that the equipment is able to perform welding seams of any configuration with an accuracy of 0.1 millimeters.
