The repair and evacuation vehicle (REM-KS) was delivered to a separate battalion of the combined arms army in the Kursk region. This is reported by the press service of the Western Military District.
Unique in many respects, the REM-CS is used for maintenance and routine repairs in the field and for the evacuation of special wheeled chassis.

The equipment was received for the acquisition of a new separate repair and restoration battalion of the army and is designed on the basis of BASES 6910.
The machine weighing 29,000 kg is able to evacuate faulty vehicles by pulling out, transporting by semi-loading and towing.

In machine set consists of a crane, lifting equipment, welding, soldering tool, painting, cutting, electrification, spanner repair, through which runs the maintenance and emergency repairs in the field, the traction winch for the evacuation of stranded cars on a tracked basis, and wheeled, including the possibility of evacuation of the self-propelled launcher without payload "Iskander".
