MOSCOW, February 1-RIA Novosti. The frigate of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) of Russia "Admiral Makarov" together with the calculations of the coastal anti-ship complexes "Bastion" conducted an exercise to destroy the enemy ship, the information support department of the Black Sea Fleet reported.
According to the plan of the exercise, the ship of the conditional enemy intended to strike at the coastal objects of the Black Sea Fleet. The frigate worked out the search for the ship. After detecting the enemy, Admiral Makarov conditionally hit him with a Kalibr-NK missile system. After the frigate, the Bastion's calculations were conditionally fired at the ship.
"The event was held in accordance with the plan of combat training of the Black Sea Fleet. The training battle was conducted with the implementation of electronic missile launches, without the actual use of missile weapons. The combat crews of the Bastion BPKRK and the crew of the Admiral Makarov frigate successfully completed all the tasks of the exercise, " the Black Sea Fleet noted.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that on the evening of January 28, the US Navy destroyer "Porter" entered the Black Sea, where it joined the "Donald Cook". NATO explained the appearance of these destroyers as a "military buildup" of Russia.
