For the first time, the Northern Fleet held a comprehensive training to repel an enemy drone attack on a protected object.
The legend of the exercises, the drones tried to attack the hydro-port in Murmansk region. Security units, unmanned aircraft and anti-aircraft missile and gun systems "Pantsir-S"advanced to its defense. The ka-29 assault helicopter was also involved in the training.
The units worked out cooperation in the organization of complex air defense, taking into account the combat experience gained in Syria, the press service of the SF said.
- The personnel acted confidently and coped with the tasks set, - said the commander of the Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Fleet, Lieutenant General Alexander Otroshchenko.
