As a result, the cruiser "hung" dead weight on the balance sheet of the Nikolaev Shipbuilding Plant, daily "eating" a significant amount to maintain the technical condition, which affects the financial condition of the enterprise, which has salary arrears. If this is not done, it can sink, which will lead to an environmental disaster.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made another decision on the unfinished ship. Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Urusky said that the government decided to demilitarize it by dismantling its weapons. He reported this to the Ukrainian media, says Free News.
In an interview, the official said that after dismantling the weapons, the cruiser will be sold or disposed of.
Of all the countries, only China and India can "pull" such a purchase, but Delhi does not need it. Beijing will not be able to buy it because of the United States. As a result, the ship intended for the destruction of aircraft carrier groups, "sawn on needles".
