Moscow. January 16. INTERFAX-The crew of the large landing ship (BDK) "Minsk" performed artillery firing exercises in the Baltic Sea, the press service of the Baltic Fleet (BF) reported on Saturday.
"In accordance with the plan of combat training of the fleet, the crew of the large landing ship Minsk of the Baltic Fleet worked out the second course task with the implementation of artillery firing at targets simulating warships and air attack means of a simulated enemy, "the report says.
It is noted that the crew of the ship worked out the elements of combat to repel attacks of small-sized sea vessels and air attacks.
"The execution of the elements of the course task at sea was carried out under the leadership of the Commander of the Baltic Fleet, Admiral Alexander Nosatov. On board the BDK "Minsk" together with the commander of the fleet were the commanders of the formations of surface ships of the Baltic Naval Base, who observed the practical actions of the crew of the landing ship," the press service of the Baltic Fleet reported.
