MOSCOW, January 15/ Sputnik Radio. The small anti-submarine ship (MPK) of the Kola flotilla of the heterogeneous forces of the Northern Fleet "Snezhnogorsk" left on January 15 in the Barents Sea to perform artillery firing, reports the portal EADaily.
The ship "Snezhnogorsk" is armed with anti-aircraft artillery systems AK-176M and AK-630M, jet bomb launchers RBU-6000 and 533-mm torpedo tubes, as well as modern sonar systems. It is designed to search for and destroy submarines in the near sea and coastal zone.
They added that the crew will have to work out a number of elements of anti-sabotage defense of the ship and conduct training on maneuvering in conditions of limited visibility and intensive navigation.
