TSAMTO, January 13. The combined arms Army of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Amur Region, the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomy, received the first batch of the latest PMK-4 gas masks.
Re-equipment for new gas masks will begin with the management of the association.
New means of RKHB protection are combined with both winter and summer sets of combat equipment "Ratnik-2", meet the requirements of operation in any Far Eastern climatic conditions, including the Far North.
The PMK-4 kit includes protective screens of the front panoramic part made of polymer glass and light filters, devices for fixing vision correction tools, as well as devices for receiving water and liquid food.
The helmet-mask of a gas mask of domestic production provides comprehensive protection. According to many indicators, the technical level of the PMK-4 gas mask is not inferior to the best foreign analogues, and in terms of basic protective and operational characteristics it exceeds them by 1.5-2 times.
