In turn, the information and analytical agency IAA "PortNews" reported:
OOO "Nevsky shipbuilding-Shiprepair plant" (Nevsky shipyard, Leningrad region, part of United shipbuilding Corporation, USC) has won the public tender to perform the construction of two medium research vessels of the project 17050 conducted UGBO "all-Russian research Institute of fisheries and Oceanography" (VNIRO, Moscow), according to the minutes of the meeting of the tender Commission published in the official website of the Unified information system in procurement.
The open tender procedure in electronic form was declared invalid due to the fact that only one application was submitted in electronic form at the end of the deadline for submitting applications for participation in the open tender. "On the basis of paragraph 3 of part 2 of article 55.1 of the Federal law No. 44-FZ to enter into a contract with LLC "NEVSKY shipyard" was 4706020609, to bid contract 5,892 billion rubles, in accordance with paragraph 25 of part 1 of article 93 of Federal law No. 44-FZ in the manner prescribed by article 83.2 of the Federal law No. 44-FZ, in recognition of the submitted applications for participation in the open competition in electronic form complying with the requirements of the Federal law No. 44-FZ and tender documentation," reads the minutes of the meeting of the competition Committee.
According to the tender documentation, the NIS is designed to perform complex fisheries and oceanographic research. The length of the NIS is 54 m, width-13.6 m, maximum speed-14 knots.
The vessel will be able to take on board 26 crew members and a scientific group. NIS will be equipped with hydrobiology and hydrology laboratories, an analytical laboratory, and a fish shop.
The vessels are due to be delivered to the customer in November 2022.
As previously reported in an interview with IAA "PortNews" Deputy head of Rosrybolovstvo Pyotr Savchuk, the agency expects to build three NIS of the seventh generation with a length of 120 m, as well as five NIS with a length of about 70 m. The plans also included the construction of two NIS with a length of up to 40 m.
On the part of bmpd, we notethat the technical project of NIS project 17050 was developed by JSC "Leningrad Shipbuilding Plant" Pella "(JSC "Pella") under a separate contract with FGBNU "VNIRO". The basis, apparently, is some kind of foreign project.
