Moscow.December 25. INTERFAX-Crews of su-27 fighters of the Baltic fleet destroyed a simulated enemy in the sky over Kaliningrad, the press service of the Western military district (ZVO) reports.
"According to the plan of the training, the planes of the conditional enemy violated the conditional state border of the Russian Federation and attempted to launch a missile and bomb attack on strategically important military facilities," the report says.
Su-27 fighters, after receiving a signal about the invasion, intercepted objects in the sky and destroyed them during an air battle.
It is noted that as part of the training, the crews worked out accelerated preparation of fighters for departure, performed paired takeoffs and electronic launches of guided missiles at air targets.
