In the outgoing year 2020, Russian infantry fighting vehicles have increased their firepower. During the rehearsals of the Victory day parade, the kurganets-25 advanced BMP with the latest uninhabited Epoch module was demonstrated for the first time.

It was reported that the testing of equipment on medium platforms should end in 2022.
It is known that the "Epoch" modules are planned to be installed EN masse on the BMP-3. According to military experts, such a decision will significantly increase the potential of the armored vehicle, which has proven itself well for many years of operation in the Russian army and in the ground forces of almost a dozen other States.

The 57-mm gun used on it as the main weapon can hit ground and air targets located at a distance of up to 14.5 km. There is also a 7.62 mm machine gun and ATGM "Attack". These heavy vehicles for transporting motorized infantry are designed for joint operations with the new generation of Armata tanks.
