The first self-driving cars of Sber Automotive Technologies went to the streets of Moscow for testing in the conditions of the winter metropolis: the drones will be tested by high humidity, negative temperature, poor visibility and heavy road conditions.
Five facts about SBER drones
- Until the end of the year Servotech expects to increase the number of their drones to ten. Their number will continue to grow next year.
- SBER's self-driving cars have successfully passed preliminary tests and received all the necessary permits for driving on public roads.
- Cars can be recognized by the characteristic graphics on the body and the "A" sign on the trunk door.
- Drivers will be driving drones in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation.
- The self-driving cars are equipped with an on-Board computer of their own design, which uses the mapping of 2GIS-another company of the SBER ecosystem.
Sberavtotech is a new division of SBER, which was established in April 2020. For seven months, several cycles of research and design work were carried out, which made it possible to build the first series of self-driving cars.
