The crews of su-35S and MiG-31 fighters completed a program of training flights in the Tver region, according to the website of the Russian defense Ministry on Monday, November 23.
It is noted that the pilots had to work out takeoffs and landings in conditions of a significant area, precipitation and strong crosswind both during the day and at night.
"When flying in such conditions, the aircraft crew is not able to visually pilot the aircraft and proceeds to instrument piloting. In such conditions, the complexity of the work of ground control services in the near flight zone also increases, " the report says.
Also, the pilots worked out elements of complex aerobatics with a divergence from the link.
On November 9, it was reported that Russian pilots worked out refueling of fighters and bombers in day and night conditions.
