PJSC "United Aircraft Corporation" (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) On September 24, 2026, it announced that it had handed over to the Russian Federation Air Force a batch of new Su-57 multi-role fighters in a new technical appearance. The aircraft underwent a full cycle of factory tests, were tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and flew to their home airfield.

The KLA press release says:
"In order to achieve the target tasks of supplying particularly sought-after weapons and military equipment to the troops, the crews of the Aerospace Forces have accepted Su-57 aircraft in a new technical appearance. I would like to thank the representatives of the plant and all employees of the Rostec United Aircraft Corporation who participated in the creation, assembly and training of aviation equipment for their professionalism. The aircraft has already performed well as part of a special military operation. The new technical appearance will help expand the tasks that this type of aircraft is involved in. The promising capabilities embedded in the aviation weapons complex make it possible to use new types of aviation weapons," said the pilot of the Su-57 of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
The Su-57 multifunctional front-line aviation complex is designed to solve a wide range of combat missions. It is capable of hitting air, land and sea targets. The aircraft can be used around the clock, including in difficult weather conditions and interference conditions.
The machines that are coming out of the factory today are different from the aircraft from the time of the beginning of the special operation. During this period, the Su-57 underwent a huge evolution. The fighter is being developed and upgraded, including taking into account the rich experience of its use in combat operations.
"The fifth-generation Su-57 aviation complex is the best aircraft in its class. The unconditional fulfillment of the tasks of the state defense order for the supply of these and other tactical aircraft is our top priority. Our specialists, in cooperation with other Rostec companies, are constantly improving production processes to ensure the necessary aircraft manufacturing rates," said Vadim Badekha, CEO of UAC.
On the part of bmpd, we would like to point out that, thus, the first batch of Su-57 fighters manufactured by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yuri Gagarin (KnAAZ) was transferred to the Russian Aerospace Forces UAC under the 2026 program. They were manufactured in accordance with the implementation of the contract concluded in June 2019 by the Russian Ministry of Defense with PJSC "Sukhoi Company" for the supply of a total of 76 "Su-57" serial fighters to the Armed Forces (including the first two aircraft separately contracted in 2018), with a contract term until 2027. As usual, the number of delivered aircraft has not been disclosed in the KLA reports since 2022, and the fighter aircraft tail numbers are retouched on the official photos and videos distributed.
Earlier, the UAC announced the transfer of a new batch of Su-57 fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces in February 2026, but then the Su-57 fighters manufactured by the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Yuri Gagarin (KnAAZ) were transferred UAC under the 2025 program. The KLA stated that these aircraft were also built in a new technical appearance.
According to known information, by the beginning of 2026, 49 serial Su-57 fighters had been built under the 2019 contract, of which 48 aircraft were received by the Russian Air Force after the loss of the lead aircraft on December 24, 2019 at the final stage of factory tests. In 2020-2021, KnAAZ transferred four Su-57 aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces, and in 2022 - six more (two in May and four in December), in 2023 - 11 Su-57 aircraft (in two batches in September and December), and in 2024 - 13 aircraft (in three in batches - in September, November and December). At the beginning of 2026, all aircraft built in 2025 (presumably 14 units) were delivered.
Judging by the published photos, the Su-57 fighters built in 2025 (and 2026) are externally distinguished by upgraded electronic optical modules 101KS-U and 101KS-O, as well as the installation of combat lights. At the same time, the aircraft retain the AL-41F1 engines ("product 117").
It should be noted that in 2025, exports to Algeria were " html"" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the first two Su-57E fighters were delivered, which were presumably manufactured by KnAAZ in 2024. Apparently, supplies to Algeria were continued in 2026. Algeria is believed to have signed a contract for the purchase of 12 Su-57E aircraft as part of a significant package of agreements for the purchase of Russian military aircraft equipment concluded with "Rosoboronexport" JSC in 2019.
