The group's exposition also demonstrates developments in the field of electric charging infrastructure, environmental technologies and the innovative Ural gondola car
Uralvagonzavod Concern (part of Rostec State Corporation) presented the innovative Elli autonomous platform, developments in the field of electric charging infrastructure and environmental technologies, as well as the new innovative Ural gondola car at the XVI International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2026 in Yekaterinburg.
Ellie — "A platform that adapts to your future"
The central exhibit of the UVZ Concern's stand was a prototype of the Elli autonomous mobile platform in the version with the robotic arm module. The product is being shown to the general public for the first time. The development of NPO Electromashina specialists is designed to perform a wide range of transport, logistics and industrial tasks at various facilities.
Elli is a modern electric platform with fully automatic control and navigation based on machine vision. With relatively small dimensions — 3000(3500)×1440×600 mm — it can withstand loads of up to three tons. The electric drive combined with an intelligent navigation system provides a balance of capacity and maneuverability, allowing the platform to operate efficiently in the cramped conditions of industrial workshops and warehouses.
The use of an autonomous mobile platform in industrial facilities can significantly reduce the proportion of manual labor, speed up logistics cycles and increase overall production efficiency. Elli was developed within the framework of the concept of modern production "smart factory", where equipment and information systems are closely connected and exchange data with each other.
The Elli platform is integrated into a single complex with the Elli charging station. Thanks to this, the process of recharging unmanned vehicles in production can be automated.
The project is implemented on the principle of "one platform — many possibilities", the transition from cargo transportation to cleaning or crane operation is carried out by simply changing the module. An easily replaceable add—on adapts the platform instantly to a specific task - the transition from cargo transportation to cleaning or crane operation is carried out by simply changing the module. This drastically reduces costs by using a single database and opens up new horizons for optimizing production processes.
Elli electric filling stations — reliable infrastructure for electric transport
The UVZ exposition at the Innoprom exhibition presents the Elli electric filling station with a capacity of 60 kW. NPO Electromashina's product line also includes a 150 kW station that can charge an electric vehicle up to 80% in 20 minutes. The first Elli charging stations are already operating in Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Tagil and Omsk.
An electric filling station may include one or more stations equipped with an intelligent system that provides video analytics, environmental monitoring, and the ability to distribute free Wi-Fi. The company is ready to offer a complete solution for the improvement of turnkey electric filling stations anywhere in Russia. The capacities of NPO Electromashina make it possible to establish large—scale production - up to 500 EPPS per year.
Ural — a new gondola car for the country's highways
The exhibition features a mock-up of the innovative Ural gondola car model 12-5991, developed by the Ural Wagon Engineering Design Bureau and manufactured at Uralvagonzavod in Nizhny Tagil. It is an eight—axle semi—truck of a new generation, designed to transport massive non-aggressive cargoes - coal, ore, timber, crushed stone, sand, metal and concrete - along 1520 mm gauge mainline railways. The load capacity of the wagon is 151 tons with a body volume of 176 cubic meters, and the axial load is 25 tons per axle.
Structurally, the gondola car is made in the form of two interconnected sections, while for the first time in domestic car building, a new semi-rigid coupling device has been used to ensure a reliable connection of the sections. The reduced length of each car makes it possible to increase the number of units in the train without exceeding the established limits on the total length, which gives a tangible economic effect: the total weight of the cargo transported in the train increases by 22% compared with the composition of standard gondola cars and by 14% compared with the composition of four-axle gondola cars with improved technical characteristics. With a standard length of 71 conventional wagons, the weight of the train can reach 8 thousand tons. This factor will contribute to solving strategic tasks to increase the capacity of the country's railways.
The project was launched in August 2023 by order of the Federal Cargo Company, a prototype was manufactured and presented in March 2024, and a certificate of conformity was received in the summer of 2025. In November 2025, the gondola car successfully passed trial operation on the St. Petersburg route.‑St. Petersburg — Vladivostok, and in January 2026, the first contract for the supply of 40 wagons was completed. At the same time, the first coal flight was made from the Novosibirsk Region to the Primorsky Territory.
Waste management equipment — contribution to the closed-loop economy
UVZ-Trans presented automatic waste sorting systems, high—tech products manufactured under a special investment contract (SPIC 2.0).
The modern automated waste sorting complex (AMSC) is used for the treatment, disposal and neutralization of municipal solid waste (MSW), the disposal of construction waste, the extraction of useful components (secondary material resources) and the production of alternative fuels.
The complex allows sorting and recycling up to 15% of secondary material resources and up to 90% of the flow of useful components. Each complex can be modified to meet the needs of the customer: for example, it can be equipped with sites for the production of fuel from waste or sites with equipment for the disposal of construction and demolition waste, agricultural and other types of waste.
In September 2025, the official opening of KPO Siberia in Tomsk with a capacity of 250 thousand tons of MSW per year took place — the project was implemented using AMSK technical solutions. Preferential loans of 5% or more can be provided to customers for the purchase of equipment manufactured by the UVZ Concern.
The International Industrial Exhibition Innoprom-2026 is being held from July 6 to July 9 at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO International Exhibition Center. The main theme of this year is "Industry 360: Production without borders". The organizers are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the government of the Sverdlovsk region. The financial partner of the exhibition is NOVIKOM Bank, part of RT-Finance Holding. Leading companies, including the United Engine Corporation, KRET, High-Precision Complexes, Rosel, Shvabe and others, present their products at the joint exhibition of Rostec State Corporation.
