In the process of analyzing the use of various weapons by the US military, Western defense experts noticed new anti-interference equipment on the F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets of the US Air Force during the war with Iran. We are talking about an antenna with a controlled directional pattern (CRPA).
This is reported by The Aviationist, citing sources.
The new antenna is part of the DIGAR GPS signal receiver system installed on the F-15E by BAE Systems specialists under a contract signed with the Pentagon in 2022. This system, along with a number of others, is constantly being improved.
Planes with new equipment installed on them took part in the operation of the American Armed Forces "Epic Fury". The relevant photographs, taken in the Middle East, were at the disposal of defense experts. They show a circular antenna located in the upper part of the aircraft fuselage on the starboard side next to the brake flap.

One of the experts found out that this fighter is assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Base in North Carolina.
It is worth noting that as of April 6, according to American data, the losses of seven US military aircraft, four of which are F–15E, have been officially confirmed. The Iranians shot down one of them at medium altitude using the Khordad-15 air defense system, whose crew was waiting for the enemy, turning off the radar and receiving target designation from a passive optoelectronic system.
