As part of the support of our armed forces, specialists from the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant, in close cooperation with the activists of the Popular Front, presented a special modification of the legendary UAZ Hunter SUV.
The vehicle has been extensively upgraded to perform one of the most important humanitarian tasks - the prompt and safe evacuation of the wounded from the battlefield. All the changes to the design were made not just by engineers, but were born out of a dialogue with those who would work on this equipment, with military personnel with extensive practical experience.
Key Car Improvements:
1. Increased survivability and safety: One of the key tasks was to ensure continuity of movement in the most difficult conditions. To do this, all the wheels of the car received special rigid inserts. This technology allows the car to remain mobile and continue performing combat missions even in the event of serious tire damage, which is crucial for saving lives.
2. Reliability of the power plant: Special attention was paid to the operation of the engine. The power unit has undergone a number of improvements aimed at ensuring its uninterrupted and long-lasting operation on various fuels, including low-quality ones. This feature guarantees the reliability of the car away from stationary gas stations, in the field.

3. Versatility and functionality of the platform: The car is built on the basis of a proven chassis, but its interior has been completely redesigned. The new layout creates opportunities for transporting victims of varying severity, providing them with the necessary conditions on their way to a medical facility. In addition, the modular design allows you to quickly adapt the machine to specific needs: use it both with a closed awning for protection from the weather, and in an open version for better visibility and interaction with the external environment.
4. Advanced functionality for special tasks: The basic equipment of the car already includes a powerful winch, which significantly increases its maneuverability and self-pulling ability. The well-thought-out design of the body and interior provides pre-prepared mounting points and mounting points for the prompt installation of various additional special equipment, which makes the Hunter a real multifunctional platform.

The first prototype of the car was designed and assembled in record time, which demonstrates the high level of organization and responsibility of the developers. At the current stage, the machine will be transferred for comprehensive testing in conditions as close as possible to real conditions. This important step will allow us to further improve the design, making it even more efficient and meeting the current requirements that will come directly from military specialists.
