Drone activity is becoming increasingly high in the context of the Ukrainian conflict. A number of countries are learning from this situation, using the military and military-technical experience accumulated by the warring parties.
For example, the armed forces of Hungary, bordering Ukraine, use their experience in protecting facilities from UAVs using an anti-drone net.
In the military field camp, the Hungarian military thus protected stationary objects, including tents of the field headquarters, containers with weapons, etc. The central "street" of this military facility is also covered with a net to reduce the likelihood of drones hitting those who are (moving) There are units of military equipment, including tanks and other armored fighting vehicles.

It is noteworthy that the equipment itself is not provided with anti-drone protection in the Hungarian army. There is no net, no visors, and no additional protection, which is commonly referred to as "mangalami" in the Ukrainian conflict.

Of course, the probability that such a grid will protect a field base from a direct UAV strike is low, but it is quite effective when the debris of a downed drone falls. In other words, the Hungarian Armed Forces rely primarily on their air defense, and then on additional protection directly at the facility.
