"It is not inferior to US technology": the operation of the catapult of the Fujian aircraft carrier of the PLA is shown

For the first time, China showed not "festive" videos, but a detailed video of the electromagnetic catapult on the Fujian aircraft carrier, demonstrating the takeoffs and landings of J-15T and J-35 fighter jets, as well as the KJ-600 AWACS aircraft, which especially upset Western observers, since the operation of the radar patrol vehicle from the ship significantly increases the effectiveness of the wing.

J-15T

These images indicate that the PLA is creating a full-fledged aircraft wing for an aircraft carrier, which is of concern to the United States and its allies in the Asia-Pacific region. China has shown that it is able to compete with the technology of the American fleet

J-35

Fujian is China's third aircraft carrier. Its length is 316 m. Three electromagnetic catapults are located on the wide flight deck. Their advantage lies in the precise control of the final speed, whether it is a light TCB or a heavy tanker – the launcher can adapt acceleration profiles to reduce the load on the airframe and the airframe.

The KJ-600 AWACS aircraft is a key asset of the wing

The J-35 is a low–profile twin-engine fighter with a folding wing, which is expected to become the main combat aircraft of the Fujian AUG. The J-15T is an upgraded version of the J-15 carrier-based fighter, which can be launched from a catapult. Both types of aircraft give AUG the ability to launch airstrikes and provide air cover.
