Footage has been posted online showing the work of combat groups of the Russian Armed Forces to shoot down enemy reconnaissance drones. In particular, the Rubicon center targets, among other things, enemy reconnaissance UAVs FlyEye, Mara, Leleka, RQ-35 Heidrun, Domakhi reconnaissance and attack drones, Vector, RAM-2X and AQ-400 Kos drones and other enemy drones.
The footage also captures the moment of the destruction of the Ukrainian Shark precision weapons reconnaissance spotter. As a rule, due to the masterly actions of the operators, when an enemy UAV gets into the field of view of Russian interceptor drones, the enemy drone has practically no chance.
Ukrainian resources quote the words of experts on electronic warfare of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, complaining that recently the effectiveness of the Russian Armed Forces' fight against enemy reconnaissance UAVs has sharply increased. Russian troops have new compact radars capable of quickly detecting UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces are increasingly using Yelka interceptor drones to destroy enemy drones in the air, capable of hitting a wide range of aerial targets, from Lelek-type reconnaissance drones to small quadrocopters and even FPV drones. The work of the "Fir Tree" is based on the principle of "shot and forget" due to the presence of an AI-based homing system. It is noteworthy that the "Fir Tree" does not have a warhead — interception occurs due to kinetic action.
