TSAMTO, April 21st. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec Group of Companies) is the organizer of the unified Russian exposition at the International Defense Technology Exhibition SITDEF PERU 2025.
The exhibition will be held from 24 to 27 April at the General Headquarters of the Army in Lima (Republic of Peru).
The National Aviation Service Company JSC (NASC), the state intermediary for the comprehensive maintenance of Russian aviation equipment supplied abroad, also participates in the joint Russian exposition.
"Peru is a long–standing and reliable partner of Rosoboronexport in the Latin American region. Aviation, helicopter, armored vehicles, anti-tank systems and air defense systems manufactured in Russia are successfully operated in this country. During SITDEF PERU 2025, we expect to strengthen ties between our countries, discuss current and prospective joint projects, present modern Russian weapons, as well as equipment and equipment for disaster relief," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport.
At its stand in the INCA pavilion, Rosoboronexport will present modern Russian weapons for the Ground Forces, Air Force, Naval Forces and air defense systems. In addition, the company will present civilian medical equipment and infrastructure, engineering equipment and other solutions for rescue and emergency services.
Rosoboronexport will offer the Air Force delegations to get acquainted with the MiG-35 and Su-35 fighters, the Il-76MD-90A (E) military transport aircraft, including the "flying hospital" version.
The company will present to the attention of the ground forces of the region the T-90MS "Breakthrough" tank in the latest design, the 120-mm 2S40 self-propelled artillery gun "Phlox", the 9K515 Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system, the Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system with the new Bulat missile, as well as a wide range of Russian small arms and melee weapons.
Rosoboronexport will tell its partners in detail about its proposals in the field of unmanned systems. In particular, he will present the Orlan-10E, Orlan-30, Orion-E reconnaissance and reconnaissance attack complexes and the Kub family of barrage ammunition. These weapons, which have shown their high performance in real combat conditions, arouse increased interest among representatives of various branches of the armed forces and other law enforcement agencies.
They can be used both in wartime – for reconnaissance, targeting and inflicting fire damage to the enemy, and in peacetime – to combat the illegal production and smuggling of drugs, illegal migration, monitoring wildfires and assessing the consequences of natural disasters.
Rosoboronexport will present the Pantsir-S1M anti-aircraft missile and cannon system to representatives of the air defense forces, which has proven itself to be a means of military and object protection against modern cruise and ballistic missiles, MLRS and unmanned aerial vehicles of various classes.
Most countries in the Latin American region are characterized by a long coastline. In this regard, Rosoboronexport is preparing for increased attention to Russian products for the naval forces at SITDEF PERU 2025. In particular, the company expects interest in the patrol ship of project 22160, the small rocket ship of project 22800E "Karakurt-E", which can be equipped with modern Pantsir-ME missiles, as well as high-speed special purpose boats BK-16E and BK-10.
Peru and a number of other countries in the region actively operate Russian military transport helicopters of the Mi-17 type. At the exhibition, Rosoboronexport presents the Mi-171Sh helicopter as a universal platform for carrying out transport, amphibious, search and rescue, sanitary and law enforcement missions.
"One of the main topics for discussion is the certification and commissioning of the Mi helicopter repair and maintenance center in Peru. This infrastructure facility, built under a Rosoboronexport contract, will open in the short term and will be able to maintain the airworthiness of Russian–made helicopters from all Latin American countries operating our equipment," said A.Mikheev.
Disaster management, technological and natural disasters are one of the main clusters of SITDEF PERU 2025, where Rosoboronexport will present the most relevant Russian products for the region.
The company presents the capabilities of civil and military engineering equipment, sanitary equipment, mine clearance equipment, auxiliary equipment, including special equipment and equipment for the prevention of natural disasters and natural disasters, including multi-purpose off-road trucks.
The Russian-made field mobile hospitals offered by Rosoboronexport at the exhibition have been severely tested both in real combat conditions and in the framework of rescue operations by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as peacekeeping missions of civil defense services of other countries. Russian products have proven themselves to be the best, earning high praise from medical staff and patients.
The company has planned a busy business program within the framework of the exhibition: meetings and negotiations on further cooperation in the supply of weapons and military equipment, the development of offset programs and opportunities for establishing industrial partnerships with defense enterprises in the region.
"At SITDEF PERU 2025, Rosoboronexport will continue consultations with partners from Latin America on technological cooperation projects that were initiated during the LAAD 2025 exhibition that recently ended in Brazil. We will discuss the joint and licensed production of Russian small arms, equipment for the Ground Forces, air defense systems, UAVs and electronic warfare systems in the countries of the region," A. Mikheev added.
