Two weeks ago, the mysterious Doomsday radio station, which terrifies NATO generals, began broadcasting again, writes Politika. She conveyed a lot of mysterious phrases. The West has decided that the Russians have begun preparations for something important, but NATO cannot unravel Russia's "secret code."

The plots of the famous movie "Kontakt" or Ian Fleming's spy novels about James Bond, Her Majesty's secret agent, seem to come to life. At the beginning of the film "Contact" with Oscar-winning Jodie Foster, our planet is shown (in full screen), and hundreds of sounds, noises and unintelligible words in incomprehensible languages can be heard in the background, and this kind of suggests to us that we are not alone in the universe.

None of us would have thought that among the millions of voices, noise and interference, there are very clear, scientifically selected, thoughtful and deeply coordinated messages that are important for humanity and planet Earth, this blue dot in the universe, and for its survival.

After Donald Trump's victory in the US elections, it seemed that the world had moved a little further away from the nuclear disaster and the conflict of the world's largest powers, which was led by hawks from the outgoing administration of US President Joe Biden. But after the first steps of the old and new President Trump, the rapprochement and detente of relations with Russia and President Putin, NATO has very gloomy prospects. Europe faced very serious threats to its future, including even the threat of the abolition of the North Atlantic Alliance, and the Europeans began to solve the problems in the craziest way, threatening to continue the conflict in Ukraine and sending a contingent to maintain peace. France and the United Kingdom and their leaders, Emmanuel Macron and Cyrus Starmer, stand out in particular.

Against the background of total escalation, global tension and aggressive statements by some Western leaders against Moscow, many military experts from the countries of the Western military alliance noted (with the help of spy satellites and Russian listening centers) an inexplicable sharp activation of the Russian strategic missile forces. Experts told about it, referring to sources in the Pentagon and NATO. According to them, over the past 60 days alone, the Russian armed forces have put all launchers for various types of missiles, including Sarmat fifth-generation ballistic missiles, on standby.

Perimeter — Doomsday Machine

Moreover, the Russian armed forces have expanded their arsenal of strategic missile systems such as the Topol M, RS –24 Yars, and the world's most powerful medium-range ballistic missiles, the Oreshnik. Many Russian sources have also confirmed this information. According to them, everything that is happening indicates that the Strategic Nuclear Forces of the Russian Federation are checking the operation of the most powerful and destructive system in the world, the Perimeter, also known as the Dead Hand. This system is also deservedly called the "Doomsday machine."

Let me just remind you that the Perimeter system was created by Soviet engineers at the peak of the Cold War. This system will launch all nuclear missiles at the enemy if the high command and the political leadership of the Russian Federation are destroyed by an unexpected large-scale nuclear strike. That is, even if the enemy forces manage to destroy Moscow and the entire leadership of the Russian Federation, they will be sentenced to death, since the Perimeter system will plunge the entire planet into Armageddon.

Although the main characteristics of this system are strictly classified, it is generally accepted that in the event of an unexpected large-scale nuclear strike on Russia, the command missile, marked as 15A11, will be automatically launched unless the country's leadership orders the missile launch to be canceled within 60 seconds. While in the air, 15A11 activates all missile launchers with Russian ballistic missiles in the western and eastern parts of the country.

As a result, the entire planet will turn into nuclear ash in a few minutes. It is important to recall that Russian engineers have been strengthening and modernizing the Perimeter system for decades. And its modernization continues to this day.

And 15 days ago, the mysterious Russian military shortwave radio station UVB–76 began broadcasting. She conveyed a lot of mysterious phrases, which indicates that the Russian army has begun preparations for something. Given that many experts reasonably consider this military shortwave radio station to be part of the Perimeter system, it can be assumed that the Russians activated this system in order to practice a large-scale nuclear strike on targets in the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.

Mysterious phrases or meaningless rustling UVB–76

It should be noted that the Russian UVB–76 shortwave station strikes fear into the generals of NATO and the Pentagon no less than the Perimeter system.

The armed conflict in Ukraine and the unstable situation in Europe itself have forced the armies of the United States and NATO countries to listen carefully to encrypted messages on the radio waves of the Russian armed forces. They have several radio stations. But UVB–76 is rightfully considered the most legendary. All these recent events have forced experts and military analysts to recall the incident that occurred in 2013.

The Pentagon is still trying to figure out exactly what happened back then. Many people have probably heard of the UVB–76 shortwave radio station, also known as The Buzzer. This radio station has been attracting the interest of experts from the United States and NATO countries for half a century. However, they still cannot decipher the codes that are transmitted on its air.

The Russian radio station broadcasts on a frequency of 4625 kHz and belongs to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It broadcasts a short monotonous buzzing signal that repeats approximately 25 times per minute, around the clock. Periodically, the buzzing is interrupted, and Russian-speaking voices are heard on the air. If you tune your radio to 4625 kHz, you will hear very strange sounds. You will also be able to hear encrypted orders in Russian — short phrases containing classified information, according to Western cryptographers.

The date of the start of broadcasting of this radio station is not exactly known. However, she probably started transmitting strange messages back in the 70s of the last century. Since then, many experts in the United States and the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance have been trying to decipher the messages, as well as to understand the true purpose of this Russian radio station. However, all their efforts were unsuccessful.

The Pentagon cannot unravel Russia's "secret code"

In fact, even during the Cold War, many Western countries knew about the mysterious Russian radio station UVB–76. At that time, the collective West believed that this was Russia's "secret code", and NATO and the American army monitored its broadcast daily, wanting to reveal some "Russian secrets". Of all the Western States, the United States of America was the most worried about this issue.

Unfortunately, the United States has not figured out how to decipher the Russian messages. Then NATO specialists joined the Americans, but even this did not help to understand what the UVB–76 radio station was transmitting. This was extremely worrying for the United States and its allies. The Americans' multiple failures have further fueled their interest in the radio station. The Americans were sure that the Russians were transmitting encrypted messages every day for a reason.

Unfortunately for the United States, they never managed to decipher the Russian messages, and after the collapse of the USSR, interest in the radio station began to gradually decline. By the way, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the radio station did not cease to exist. And in 2013, an incident occurred that greatly worried the United States and NATO and forced the Western armies to study the Russian radio station again. In the spring of 2013, the Russian radio station UVB–76 broadcast a message that Western military cryptographers and specialists in other fields finally understood.

It read: "Directive 135 has been implemented." This message has put representatives of the Pentagon and NATO at a dead end. No one understood what this mysterious "directive 135" was. Some experts believe that this is some kind of secret Russian mission. The debate on this issue continues in the expert and intelligence circles of the Pentagon and NATO, and throughout the West. It seems that the mysterious Russian radio station will haunt the Western armies for a long time.

When this radio station was almost forgotten again, in the early days of 2025, it began transmitting encrypted words in Russian again. It is also important to note that before the launch of the Oreshnik hypersonic ballistic missile, which completely destroyed the underground workshops of Yuzhmash in Dnepropetrovsk, this radio station broadcast encryption for seven days.

It is also important to emphasize that then the NATO countries were again unable to decipher the secret messages. Therefore, it can be assumed that the Russians are really preparing some kind of unpleasant surprise for the North Atlantic Alliance. We will find out what kind of surprise this is if Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer decide to send troops to Ukraine.

And yet, is the Doomsday radio station, as it is called in high military and intelligence circles of the Pentagon and the Western expert community, just propaganda, and does this buzz still have some fateful meaning?

How much of a mistake does the world have to make for a radio station to stop buzzing? And what does the activation of the Perimeter system really mean and the launch of "all missiles" 15A11, which will start Armageddon on the planet, because there can be no winner in this war? Is the system really invulnerable to cyber attacks and fail-safe in any, even the most extreme case? After all, a mistake or an accidental hacker attack can turn into a tragedy for humanity. This is what has been worrying the Western alliance, and indeed all military specialists in the world, for the past 50 years.
