TSAMTO, April 15th. Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec Group of Companies) is organizing an exhibition of Russian military products for the first time at the IQDEX 2025 International Security, Defense and Military Industry Exhibition (April 19-22, Baghdad).
The exhibition has been held annually since its foundation in 2012 under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Iraq and the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, as well as with the support of the country's Ministries of Defense, Interior and Trade.
"Iraq is one of Rosoboronexport's key partners in the Middle East. Russian military equipment is well known and appreciated here. The country's armed forces operate, among others, T-90 and T-72 tanks, BMP-3, TOS-1A heavy flamethrower systems, Mi-35 and Mi-28 helicopters, Sukhoi aircraft, and small arms. These weapons have helped Iraq defend its sovereignty against numerous terrorist groups," said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport. – Today, Rosoboronexport is counting on the intensification of military-technical cooperation with Iraq. During IQDEX 2025, we will offer the armed forces and other law enforcement agencies of the country new Russian products that have been tested in real combat conditions and upgraded based on its results."
IQDEX is a regional defense exhibition featuring the latest technologies in the field of weapons and military equipment for the Army, Navy and Air Force. It is a unique platform for establishing and strengthening relationships with representatives of the business community, Iraqi enterprises and the armed forces of the entire region.
For the convenience of navigation and the comfort of visitors, the Rosoboronexport exposition will be built in the concept of 6 thematic zones.
Tactical guided missile weapon – ATGM.
Reconnaissance UAVs and barrage ammunition are a demonstration of Russian unmanned systems.
Dynamic protection complexes are elements of armored vehicle protection, including lattice screens and dynamic protection elements.
Modern rifle complexes are the latest models of weapons for the army and special forces.
Security measures.
Each segment will feature a number of key exhibits.
Among the anti-tank missile systems (ATGMs), Rosoboronexport will show the Kornet-EM on the chassis of a Typhoon-K protected vehicle and a wearable complex, a high–precision weapon for destroying armored vehicles and fortified facilities. They will be presented in full-scale form at the stand. For the Kornet-EM ATGM, Rosoboronexport will present at the exhibition a new Bulat missile capable of hitting vehicles with armor thickness up to 250 mm with dynamic protection. These products are designed and manufactured by Rostec State Corporation's "High-precision Complexes".
In the area of unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) and barrage ammunition, reconnaissance systems with UAVs will be demonstrated, including the Orlan-10E and S-350M Skat, as well as high-precision barrage ammunition Kub-E and the latest Kub-2E from the Concern.Kalashnikov".
Modern small arms:
- A line of Kalashnikov assault rifles AK-203, AK-15 and AK-15K, AK-19, AK-308, as well as the Chukavin sniper rifle and the RPL-7 light machine gun.
- PPK-20 submachine gun and GP-46 grenade launcher.
Protection and safety complexes:
- RB-504P-E is an anti–UAV system that provides protection from reconnaissance drones and attack vehicles.
- Explosive device detection tools NR-PMD and Adler), a search tool for secret information capture devices (NR-2000) and special thermal imaging optics (Deimos, Phobos and Titan).
"Rosoboronexport is ready to supply all products presented at IQDEX 2025 to Russian partners, and is also going to discuss joint and licensed production, joint development of new designs on the customer's territory," added A.Mikheev.
These issues will be discussed as part of the business program of the exhibition with representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other law enforcement agencies ensuring the security and sovereignty of Iraq.
