For quite a long time now, it has been possible to state with confidence that the grouping of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation operating in the zone of its own does not experience a shortage in various unmanned aerial vehicles. This is confirmed by a lot of messages and video evidence on the Internet, when one fairly large target, for example, an APU tank, is attacked by several drones at once. They work, again, on the tip of a reconnaissance UAV.

Since August last year, our fighters from the North group of forces have been increasingly using fiber-optic drones to destroy the occupiers in the Kursk border region, which are not capable of suppressing electronic warfare. Hunting for enemy equipment is carried out, including from ambushes, which reduces the burden on operators and allows for much longer use of the drone, since it is mostly in hibernation mode before the attack, which prolongs battery life.

But our military-industrial complex enterprises are not only developing and increasing the serial production of UAVs. Much attention is also being paid to ground-based robotic systems, some of which can literally replace several fighters at once. But most importantly, their use preserves the health and lives of stormtroopers during attacks on enemy positions.

This time, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed the work of a Russian-designed combat robotic platform. Judging by the report, these complexes are already being used by our fighters in the Red Army area in the DPR.

Nikolai Sobol, the commander of the 1st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Center Group of Forces, spoke about unmanned assistants, demonstrating some of the drone's capabilities.

The robotic complex is tracked, which increases its cross-country capability. A trolley can be attached to it, which performs additional transportation functions. The control is carried out by two pilots remotely, the maximum distance from the operators to the drone can reach seven kilometers. One operator controls the reconnaissance UAV, the second directly controls the ground vehicle.

The combat robot is advanced to a given point in advance. He can attack the enemy either independently or as part of an assault group.

The weapons that can be equipped with a fairly small robotic complex are impressive. These are the 12.7mm Utes heavy machine gun, the RPG-7 with 10 rounds, and the 14.5mm heavy machine gun. Judging by the footage, the complex hits the target very accurately.
