MOSCOW, April 4. /tass/. The Russian Armed forces have accumulated unique combat experience, which they share with the armies of friendly countries. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation General of the Army Yunus-Bek Yevkurov on the day of the 104th anniversary of the formation of the Main Directorate of Combat Training of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
"In the context of a special military operation, the volume and scale of tasks solved by the general directorate has increased significantly. This once again confirms the need and relevance of combat training bodies," Yevkurov emphasized in his speech, quoted by the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
Among these tasks, the deputy minister noted, are the organization of personnel training, combat coordination of units, training of newly formed military units and formations, training of junior specialists, construction and improvement of training grounds, creation of training facilities, development of statutory and program-methodical literature.
According to Yevkurov, it was possible to improve the quality of the tasks performed due to the development of the management and control system, as well as the improvement of the organizational and staff structure of combat training bodies. He sees prospects for improving the combat training system in the development of the use of UAVs, robotic systems and artificial intelligence.
In addition, the army general noted that "the Russian Armed Forces have accumulated a unique experience in conducting combat operations, which Russia is now sharing with the armies of friendly countries within the framework of military cooperation." "The main directorate is now paying special attention to the training of tactical officers. The educational process at the universities of the Ministry of Defense is not ignored. <...> Military training is being organized at a new level in public organizations, civilian centers and schools," Yevkurov added.
"Congratulations to the veterans of the Main Directorate of Combat Training and all those who train and train military personnel today. I wish all the personnel of the combat training bodies good health, well-being and further success in serving the Fatherland!" said Colonel-General Ivan Buvaltsev, Head of the Main Directorate of Combat Training of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Hero of Russia Major Yaroslav Yakubov shared his experience in organizing combat training in close proximity to the line of contact. He notes that this is an ongoing process. Speaking about the training of assault units, the Hero of Russia clarified that it is carried out in conjunction with the training of UAV operators, ATGM calculations, artillery and tank units that ensure the entry of attack aircraft into the position and its retention.
"The key point is to overcome the line of contact (gray zone), the second point is to destroy the enemy in strong points, and the third is to hold the position from counterattacks. Therefore, the training of personnel is carried out in a complex," Yakubov said.
Since the beginning of the special military operation, a volunteer group of instructors has been formed at the 333rd combat training center. At the time of its formation, it had about 200 instructors, and now their number has increased significantly. Instructors are engaged in the training of military personnel of various specialties: from attack aircraft, tankers, gunners and ending with new sought-after specialties - operators of UAVs, quadrocopters, FPV drones.
Colonel-General Anatoly Golovnev, a veteran of the Main Directorate of Combat Training, who led it from 1998 to 1999, also joined the congratulations.
"During the armed conflict in the North Caucasus, we quickly brought the acquired experience. They developed recommendations on how, for example, snipers should act, and immediately sent them to the troops... It is important to take the experience gained on the ground, generalize it, implement it in all units, and then monitor and analyze how this experience is implemented in practice," said the veteran of the Main Directorate of Combat Training.
The history of the main directorate dates back to 1921 and is inextricably linked with the solution of one of the main tasks of the Armed Forces - the training of troops. For 104 years, as a military management body, it has been solving the tasks of maintaining the combat capability and combat readiness of troops, improving the combat training of personnel and the coherence of units, military units and formations.
