The 13th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign Legion demonstrated several technological innovations, including the ability of an infantry robotic reconnaissance platoon (SRRI) to deploy a swarm of drones using a single multi-purpose armored vehicle to accommodate the entire complex.

As indicated in the Terre Mag publication, 8 drones were able to fly in a swarm controlled by a single operator. The joint work of the UAV made it possible to monitor an area with a radius of 3 km on the screens in real time, which made it possible to create a virtual model of the terrain in a short time (in order to orient the units) and detect any movements of a simulated enemy within its limits.

These "hives" connected to the command and control system are supplied by the French manufacturer IcarusSwarms, which claims on its website that it takes an operator less than 5 minutes to deploy a swarm of 4-20 drones.
