"A hive for a swarm of drones": The French Ministry of Defense showed tests of a drone control system

The 13th Demi-Brigade of the Foreign Legion demonstrated several technological innovations, including the ability of an infantry robotic reconnaissance platoon (SRRI) to deploy a swarm of drones using a single multi-purpose armored vehicle to accommodate the entire complex.

As indicated in the Terre Mag publication, 8 drones were able to fly in a swarm controlled by a single operator. The joint work of the UAV made it possible to monitor an area with a radius of 3 km on the screens in real time, which made it possible to create a virtual model of the terrain in a short time (in order to orient the units) and detect any movements of a simulated enemy within its limits.

Two prototypes of "hives" have been tested, allowing swarms of drones to be transported and deployed. They were placed on Griffon and Masstech armored vehicles.
