The first international summit of mountain troops was recently held in France, where new models of equipment and equipment designed for use in harsh conditions were presented.
For example, the French company Technamm, specializing in the transformation and adaptation of vehicles for military and law enforcement agencies, introduced the new Masstech Commando all-terrain vehicle, based on the Toyota 70 series and using a tracked track for movement.

Built on a double cabin platform, it measures 5,782 x 1,976 x 2,545 mm, has a maximum permissible weight of 4,500 kg and an unloaded weight of 3,700 kg. The wheelbase of 3180 mm increases stability.
Masstech Commando can carry various types of weapons. It is equipped with 4 mounts for individual weapons, two platform-type supports and a turret with a hatch. It is possible to install hinges at the front and rear of the vehicle to accommodate additional weapons.

Among other novelties demonstrated at the exhibition is a tent designed by Trigano. Its area is 12 sq. m. It has an aluminum frame with a central adjustable mast and 8 side pillars, providing optimal stability. The fabric used is polycotton IR M2 with a density of 530 g/sq. m. Assembly takes only 10 minutes.
