As previously mentioned in the "VO", Russian troops have installed a 2-km mesh "tunnel" on one of the roads in the DPR.
Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces unwrap a roll of mesh cloth, which is then attached to poles from 4.5 to 6 m high, evenly spaced on both sides of the road. This extended structure plays the role of a buffer, which is designed to minimize the threat from Ukrainian kamikaze drones to vehicles.
As indicated in the Western press, this is not the first attempt by the Russian Armed Forces to use grids on a large scale to combat these fast and maneuverable weapons. Previously, such barriers were stretched between lampposts on the road near Artemovsk after the liberation of this city.
