In Russia, the BMO-T flamethrower combat vehicle has long been created on the T-72 platform, which with minimal modifications could become a heavy armored personnel carrier. It is known that this model, which has solid tank armor, with its own crew of two people can take on board 7 more motorized infantry.
By the way, the BMP-2 has the same landing force. Apart from the two machine gunners located in front of the BMP-3, 5 fighters can fit behind the turret. The BMD-4M has a capacity of only 7 people, of which three are crew. The wheeled BTR-82A also has 7 troops.

As for the BMO-T, when they write about its capacity, they mention that three dozen (!) RPO-A "Bumblebee" manual rocket infantry flamethrowers are also placed inside, which can probably be disposed of in the armored personnel carrier version.
Armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles with rear-mounted engines are usually criticized for complicated disembarkation. Fighters participating in a special military operation have long solved this problem - on their armored self-made vehicles, which are created on the basis of tanks, a kind of slide is installed in the stern, from which the infantryman does not experience difficulties.

Additional protection for such a means of delivering personnel will be multi-layered "barbecues", electronic warfare equipment, smoke grenade launchers, as well as remote-controlled machine guns.
