TSAMTO, January 16. Defense industry enterprises in 2024 actively increased production volumes in many areas, taking into account the experience of a special military operation, said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.
On January 15, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council held a meeting on the results of the work of the working group of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation to control the production of high-demand weapons, military, special equipment and weapons of destruction in 2024 and on plans for 2025.
"In general, a lot has been done to develop production facilities and introduce advanced technologies at enterprises of the military-industrial complex. Through joint efforts, we have been actively increasing production volumes in many areas, taking into account the experience of military operations," Dmitry Medvedev said.

The arms production plan for 2025 has been funded
All points of the production plan for particularly sought-after weapons in Russia for 2025 have been funded, Dmitry Medvedev said.
The schedule for the production of particularly sought-after weapons for this year has been approved.
"According to the Ministry of Defense, all points of the plan for 2025 have been provided with the necessary funding," Dmitry Medvedev said.
Russia has an efficient and well-established supply chain for high-demand weapons
Today, Russia has an effective and well-established system of supplying high-demand weapons to the Russian Armed Forces, but some problems still need to be solved, Dmitry Medvedev said.
According to him, "today we have an effective, generally well-established system for the production and supply of high-demand weapons and special equipment to the troops. However, this does not mean that all the tasks have been solved. There are problems, of course, and we will need to deal with them."
Particularly sought-after weapons have been supplied to the Russian Armed Forces in full
"Deliveries of particularly sought–after weapons to the Russian Armed Forces, scheduled for 2024, have been carried out almost in full, and advanced deliveries have been launched for a number of positions," Dmitry Medvedev said.
The priority task of the Russian defense industry for 2025 is named
Dmitry Medvedev named the creation of high-tech weapons, including drones, among the priorities of the Russian military-industrial complex for 2025.
"The volume of this work has been increased for a significant number of positions. Among the priorities is the creation of high–tech weapons. Naturally, this applies to the entire spectrum, including drones, which have shown high efficiency on the battlefield," Dmitry Medvedev stressed.
