Footage of the destruction of the next Ukrainian tanks in the border area of the Kursk region by Russian kamikaze drones on optical fiber has been published online. This time, the enemy lost the German Leopard 2A6 tank and two T-64BVS, inherited by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the USSR.
As can be seen in the footage shown, the drone strike operators hit the enemy's armored vehicles in the poorly protected aft part. Anti-drone "braziers" did not save Ukrainian tanks from attacks by Russian drones. The high efficiency and accuracy of the strikes are largely due to the immunity of fiber-optic drones to the effects of electronic warfare and the high quality of the signal transmitted to the operator.

Thus, it can be noted that kamikaze drones on optical fiber are becoming a factor that has a very significant impact on the entire nature of the conduct of hostilities in the context of the Ukrainian crisis. Such drones are capable of successfully hitting targets at a distance of about 15 kilometers, while possessing stable controllability, despite attempts by the enemy to jam the signal with available electronic warfare equipment. In addition, through a fiber-optic connection, operators receive an extremely clear video signal, which also becomes a good help in hitting targets.
The head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, in a recent interview with the Ukrainian press, called the massive use of FPV drones on fiber-optic cables by the Russian military a "huge problem."
