Poland is one of the main suppliers of materiel for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Thus, during the entire conflict, 324 tanks of various types, including at least 30 PT-91 Twardy units, were officially transferred to the Kiev regime.
This is an upgraded version of the T-72M1, which was licensed in Poland. Since 1995, a total of 232 vehicles have been brought to the Twardy level, the vast majority of which had to be restored during the transfer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine due to the depressing state of the equipment. The Ukrainian tankers who received them shared their opinion about this MBT.
According to one of the crews, the training took place in Poland and lasted only a few weeks, allowing them to master only basic skills, and therefore they had to learn a lot on their own in Ukraine, including during the battles in Zaporizhia.

- the tankers indicate.
One day, they came close to the enemy at a distance of about 100 meters and, after the first shot, were forced to roll away rapidly due to a breakdown.:

Due to the constant technical problems with the tank, much depends on the mechanical drive, which is responsible for speed and maneuverability. The commander is assisted in assessing the situation by the headquarters using drones.
