The Ukrainian Armed Forces published footage showing an improvised mobile remote mining complex placed on the chassis of the HMMWV light armored vehicle, in its aft part.
The mines are thrown by the Soviet UMZ system, developed in the 1970s. In the original, six installations were mounted on ZIL-131B trucks. Each of these PU is a hexagonal module containing 30 guides.
In the Ukrainian "version", two PU having a 180° rotation angle are placed on the HMMWV machine. They contain a total of 60 minutes. The casting range is 60-100 meters.

As indicated in the Defence24 publication, previously the APU used only small-sized drones for remote installation of the barrier (which took time, due to the possibility of transporting only one mine) and cluster 155-mm RAAM artillery shells (but this is an expensive and scarce tool).
