Ukraine's allies have announced new military supplies for the Armed Forces
MOSCOW, October 27 — RIA Novosti, Andrei Kotz. Zelensky's "Victory plan" in the West has practically no interest for anyone. Brussels and Washington have clearly made it clear that they are not going to engage in direct armed confrontation with Moscow for Kiev's sake. But the supply of weapons continues. About what they give and how it will change the situation on the front line — in the RIA Novosti material.
Hold out until the election
Last week, the Americans announced another $400 million package of military assistance to Ukraine. Probably the last one before the presidential election. There are ammunition for HIMARS, 155- and 105-millimeter artillery shells, 60-, 81- and 120-millimeter mortar systems and shells, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank complexes, M113 armored personnel carriers, satellite communication equipment, small arms and other "trifles".

The amount, on the one hand, is quite a lot. On the other hand, there is nothing that the Kiev regime really needs. No ammunition for NASAMS and Patriot anti-aircraft systems, no ATACMS tactical missiles, no heavy armored vehicles. Obviously, the United States is waiting for who will lead the country in November, and so far they are afraid to shower Kiev with too much generosity. They just keep the ally afloat so that the front does not collapse.
In the middle of the month, Germany announced the next deliveries. Chancellor Olaf Scholz reported on the transfer of a package of 600 million euros to Ukraine. The list includes the IRIS—T SLM medium-range anti-aircraft missile system, 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, PZH2000 self-propelled howitzers, 155 mm shells and drones of various classes. At the same time, the Bundestag approved the following package for 400 million euros: two IRIS-T SLM air defense systems, a dozen Leopard 1A5 tanks and ammunition for them.

Germany is diligently "degreasing" its own army and economy in order to save the Kiev regime. However, this will not always be the case. In July, Reuters warned that Berlin was going to halve supplies next year. It was noted that the largest economy in the eurozone was able to avoid recession, but the indicators are weak, it is necessary to plug the holes in the budget.
Canada spent another 47 million dollars on Kiev: shooting, protective equipment, ammunition.

Earlier, Ottawa transferred Leopard 2 tanks, Senator armored personnel carriers, armored combat support vehicles, NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems with ammunition, M777 howitzers, anti-tank weapons and others to Kiev.
Tanks from Australia
Australia, which had previously provided modest assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, suddenly distinguished itself. Defense Industry Minister Pat Conroy announced his intention to send as many as 49 Abrams M1A1 main battle tanks to Kiev. According to him, "these vehicles will provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with greater firepower and mobility." Conroy's statement came after Canberra received the first of 75 more modern M1A2S ordered from the Americans.
However, Kiev does not have to be particularly happy. The American edition of Military Watch Magazine clarifies that the transferred tanks have been in service for decades and have already largely exhausted their resource. Their technical condition raises serious questions. There are fears that the AFU's rear services will not be able to cope with them.
According to the publication, Australia made this decision due to the refusal of many other NATO countries from further supplies of main battle tanks - there was a shortage in its own arsenals. Given the scale of losses of armored vehicles, this can have a particularly detrimental effect on the combat capability of the Armed Forces.

However, it is unlikely that the "Abrams" will help much. Most of the vehicles of this type sent by the Pentagon (20 out of 31) have already been burned.
Military Watch Magazine experts state : tanks of the Western school are poorly adapted to the conditions of the Ukrainian conflict. They are too heavy, large, demanding on the quality of fuel, maintenance and qualifications of the crew. Their large dimensions make them an ideal target for an FPV drone operator. The Ukrainians tried to increase the survivability of the Abrams by welding braziers and Kontakt-1 dynamic protection units on them, but this increased the already rather large combat weight of the machines.
The Unmanned Coalition
The so-called drone coalition, which includes about 20 states, wants to supply Ukraine with a million drones by the end of the year. If earlier the number of attack UAVs transferred by Western donors was in the hundreds, now it is in the thousands. One of the latest packages from the same Germany contains four thousand attack drones and three hundred reconnaissance ones.
The Dutch company DeltaQuad will also strengthen the enemy's aerial reconnaissance, spending 43 million euros on this. France will send a batch of kamikaze drones of its own design to Kiev.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also continue to improve unmanned systems, actively looking for vulnerabilities in Russian air defense.
Small companies manufacturing drones in Ukraine have been underground for a long time. This is a problem. It does not require a large factory area with large-scale energy consumption, which is what the Kiev regime uses.
However, it is not drones that take cities, but soldiers with the support of armored vehicles. Western supplies will allow Kiev to deliver sensitive strikes, but are unlikely to affect the front line. This requires human and material resources, which the APU currently either lacks or is in serious short supply.
